He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Smith and Elda Mae Smith (Reninger); his wife Betty M. Smith (McCollough); and his siblings, Joyce Kaywood, Janice Paul, Jack Smith and Gerald Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kay Carone of Erie and Gene Smith of Parkersburg, WV; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Smith of Bradford.
