He was predeceased by: his parents, Burlie Brummitt and Dulcie Brummitt (Sutherland); his son Roger Jr.; and his siblings, Leta, Darla Brummitt, Burlie, Jr., Anthony and Samuel Brummitt.
He is survived by: his close friend Judith Brummitt (Llewellyn) of Bradford; his children, Scott Brummitt (Faith Eschrich) of Bradford, Stacie Brummitt (Paul Schmidt) of Clarksville, TN and Kerri Styczynski (Josh) of Albany, NY; his stepdaughters, Melanie Moore of Bradford and Crystal Rea of Indianapolis, IN; and his siblings, Beverly Muncy of Middlesboro, KY, Josephine Settles of Middlesboro, KY, Edward Brummitt of Middlesboro, KY and Michael Brummitt of Apopka, FL.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
