He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Sofus and Signe Fokstuen (Danielson). He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Fokstuen (Viken); his children, Anne Fokstuen of San Francisco, Tone Fokstuen of Stockholm and Terje Fokstuen of Berkeley; and his grandchildren, Taran of Stockholm Sweden and Bjornulv of Umeo, Sweden.. He is also survived by five siblings.
