He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Penny; his son Yochanon (John); his granddaughters, Emma and Lilliana of Peru, IL; his son Shemuel (Sam) of Peru, IL; his siblings, Bonita Kaiser, Evangeline Harmon (Angie), Dennis of Mendota and Luther Kaiser of Mendota; his niece Annelies; his brother-in-law Merle W. Eiffert; and his siblings' children, Tom Eiffert, Nicholas and Katie of Yardville, NJ.
About ten years ago he began to show signs of Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease, and because of its progression decided to step down as pastor.
