He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence; and his siblings, Beverly Lou Colley and John W. Nichols. He is survived by: his siblings, Sally Nichols, Sue Nichols, David Nichols, Jeffrey Nichols (Sarah), Joe Nichols (Sue) and Gregory Nichols (Sue); and his sister-in-law Deborah Nichols of Bradford.

The family requests donations to Asbury United Methodist Church, SPCA, or a charity of the donor's choice.
