He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Riggs and Goldie Riggs (McConnell); his former wife Eleanor "Carita" Riggs (Russell); and his wife Thelma Ruth Riggs (Larson). He is survived by: his children, Carita Larson (Leonard) of Bradford, Jane Schoonmaker (Robert) of Bradford, Susan Freer (Thomas) of Carlisle, William Riggs (Pam) of Chesapeake, VA and Daniel Riggs of Cheraw, SC; and his brother Richard Riggs (Geraldine) of Valley View, OH. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
