He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. and Gertrude; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Sullivan); his children, Donald J., Jr. (Lisa), Debra Ann Asher and James P. (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Dylan Miller, Katelyn Diaz (Richard), Kristen Mick, Barak, Ben and Brayden Asher; his great grandchildren, Ashton and Jaxson Diaz; his siblings, Diane DeAnglis and Dennis Miller (Sue); his aunt Lois Ahlstrom; and his nieces and nephews, Ray, Nicole, Angela, Kalna, Katrina and Keely.
