He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel DiBattista and Rose DiBattista; and his father-in-law Butch. He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Battista (Powell); his children, Dan Battista (Deena) and Amy Farrell (Jim); his grandchildren, Amara, Daniel, Abby, Aidan, Dawson and Emma; his siblings, John, Antoinette and Nunsio; his parent-in-law Sis Powell; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Powell (Peggy), Robert Alan Powell (Michele), John Powell (Cheryl) and Cathy Jones (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
