It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Helfrich (Brentwood, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Helfrich. She is survived by: her children, Donald G. Meyer, Denise Meyer Kennell (Max Stalter) and Darlene Meyer Giordano (Chad); her grandchildren, Garrett Kennell, Lexi Kennell, Morgan Giordano and Madelyn Giordano; her stepchildren, Robert Helfrich, Kathleen Helfrich Miller, Louis Helfrich (Sharon) and David Helfrich (Kathleen); and her sisters, Rita Tamburi (late Renald) and Mary Rose Dobrzanski (John). She is also survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, March 15 from 3-8 p. m. and where a Blessing service will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 11:00 a. m. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
