It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Cherkes of Brentwood, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol A. Cherkes (Ott); and his brother Joe (late Jan). He is survived by: his children, Kimbery Sterling (Harry), Mike Cherkes and Ken Cherkes; his granddaughters, Jessica Marculaitis (Andy) and Julia Sterling; his great grandchildren, Anya, Ryan and Natalia; and his siblings, Alice Platt (Jim), Ruth Pulfer (Jack), Stanley (late Janet) and Walt Cherkes. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
