He is survived by: his spouse Claire J. Brositz (Ancell); his children, Mark Brositz (Jennifer) and Laura Schuster (Thomas); his grandchildren, Josh, Derek, Maura and Justin; and his sister Marguerite Stark (Don).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Alzheimer's Association - Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
