He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. and Bernice; and his brother William Dowling. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine (Cristello); his children, Thomas R. (Hollie), Caroline Ashley and Nolan John Dowling; and his sister Mary Margaret Potter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
