She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cordes and Viola Cordes (Fuchshuber); and her brother David Cordes. She is survived by: her husband Norman Schumm; and her children, Daniel Schumm (Susan), Stephan Schumm (Deborah), Karen Schumm, Kathryn Stanis (Paul) and Laura Hoff (Dave). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
