She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmidt and Clara Schmidt (Bruder); and her siblings, Lorraine Baker, Claire Provance (Dolly), George and Paul Schmidt.

She is survived by: her siblings, William Schmidt (Joe) of Pittsburgh and Esther Thompson of Fort Myers, FL.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
