He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph M., Sr. and Marie L. Stoughton; and his brother-in-law Richard Dziekan. He is survived by: his wife Alberta M. (Dziekan); his siblings, Joyce Marcoz, Pete Stoughton (Gretchen), Carol Giacomin (John) and Robert (Nancy Stoughton); his siblings' children, Alice Wehrle (Wayne), Richard Dziekan (Patti) and Robert Dziekan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alicia, Ricky, Emilia and Jimmy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
