He was predeceased by: his spouse Valarene Steiner (Orbich); his son Samuel J. Steiner; his sister Dorothy Mae Babish; and his parents, Leo H. Steiner, Sr. and Stella Pitsvada Steiner Wiencek (Steve).

He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Steiner Onodi, Stephanie Eisel (Robert), Melissa Bouchard (Jason) and Olivia Eisel; and his brother Donald Steiner. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
