She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stanley and Helen Reimel (Wolf); her husband Raymond R. Serfass Sr.; and her brothers, Stewart, Edward, Douglas, Glenn, John, Richard and Lester Reimel.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Williams (Richard) of Appenzell, Dawn Halmi (James) of Greencastle and Raymond R. Serfass Jr. (Lisa) of Appenzell; her siblings, Robert Reimel of Mokena, IL and Elva Thomas of Williamsport, MD; her grandchildren, Kristin Schaffer, James Halmi and Tamara Desai; her stepgrandson Richard Joseph Williams; and her great grandchildren, Kiara and Riken Desai.
