He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus H. Kummerer and Ruth Chatten Kummerer; and his sister Violet Kummerer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. White Kummerer; his children, Brenda Milko (Stephen), Karen Reardon (William), Margaret McAndrew, Bonnie Nichols and John C. Kummerer, Jr. (Barbara); and his granddaughter Kristina Kummerer. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
