He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph; and his sibling Joseph Bergamo. He is survived by: his parent Martha; his children, Andrew (Valerie), Roger (Janet), Ronald (Cheryl) and Nancy Taylor (Michael); his grandchildren, Zoe, Joseph, Brandi, Chelsea, Kristin, Sara, David, Amanda and Nicole; and his great grandchildren, Knox, Ryker, Jessica, Joy, River and Lily.
