He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Crowley and Anna Stokley Crowley; and his brother John. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas, Richard Crowley and Joan M. Howat; his wife Grayce E. Curry Crowley; his children, Ann Marie Theodorou (Jim), Robert A. Crowley, Jr. (Susan), Thomas R. Crowley (Monica), Kevin P. Crowley (Sharon) and Michael B. Crowley (Terri); his siblings, Joseph A. Crowley, Mary Anne Viscuso, Margaret Bastian (Ronald) and David Stokely; and his grandchildren, Robert (Gina), Ryan (Allysa), Anna (Brian), Madelyn, Renae, Megan (Luke), Kevin, Michael, Kaylyn, Hanna and Sean. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
