He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Ewing; his parents, Clyde Ewing and Elizabeth Ewing (Gill); his son Michael; his grandson Jeffrey; and his sister Audrey Buckalew.
He is survived by: his son Robert Jr. (Sue); and his daughter-in-law Sharon. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
