She was predeceased by : her parents, John L. McElhinny and Rose Stinner McElhinny; her husband Robert Johns; her siblings, Elmer, Larry and Maria; and her stepgranddaughter Alexis Johns.

She is survived by : her daughter Tammy Williams (Troy); her stepson Michael Johns; her grandchildren, Dustin Williams (Brandy Conners) and Megan Williams; her stepgrandson Zakkary Johns; and her siblings, Jack, Joe, Blaze, Richard, Mark, Martha, Rose, Bernadette, Grace, Dorothy, Francine, Mildred, Lucia and Eileen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
