She was predeceased by: her spouse Major A. Jayanetti; and her sibling Warasena. She is survived by: her siblings, Wilson and Wimalawathie Yahampath; her children, Saman Dias Jayanetti (Lee Chamberlain), Purnima Jayanetti (Noel Ponnaiyah) and Dinali Jayanetti (Mark Gilbert); and her grandson Verosh Jayanetti.
