Samar (Broomall, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Cratin; her husband John "Jack" Samar; and her sister Ellen Schwartz. She is survived by: her parent Mary Cratin; her children, Janet Hemple (George), Patty Engel (Clifford), Ellen McGoldrick (Michael), Joanne Porcellini (Danny), Michael (late Marianne), John (Patricia) and James Samar; and her sister Christine Zippo. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
