Janet R. McGuirk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet R. McGuirk (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet R. McGuirk to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Steinkirchner and Irene Steinkirchner (Riek); and her sister Marie Diehl. She is survived by: her husband Robert W. McGuirk; her children, Robert K. McGuirk, Michael S. (Peggy), Marlene Kessler (Wayne) and Nancy Vliet (Russ); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Jeffrey, Katie, Christopher, Daniel, Kayla, Michael, Zachary, Melissa and Louis. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the F. G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA 15906). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Michael Church in memory of Janet McGuirk.
