He is survived by : his wife Connie Gnus Garofalo; his children, Anne Koval (Charlie), Michael Garofalo (Jennifer), Steven Garofalo, Jessica Dicicco and Jeremy Huseman (Emily); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Ryan, Wesley, Vincent, Aiden, Joseph and Josephine; and his brothers, Dr. William Garofalo, Dr. James Garofalo (Andoria) and Dr. Thomas Garofalo.
