She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Blanche Howard (Herbert) and Charles Zollie Howard; her siblings, Elizabeth (Morton), Charles, Robert and Henry; her aunt Beulah (Howard); her uncle Arvie Carter of Hiller, PA.; her daughters, Mildred Dianne Mills of Whitsett, PA, Maxine Wiley of Mattapan, MA, Marva Jean Cox (Lenny) of Hyde Park, MA and Ethel Sharon Warren; and her husband Deacon John J. Colmes. She was also cherished by 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
