He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claire Reedy and Hilda G. Wagner; his brother Robert Reedy; his wife Sally Reedy; his son James Reedy (MaryAnn); his grandchildren, Jim, Joe and Julia; his siblings, Wes Reedy (Susan), Dave Reedy (Donna) and Bonnie Kolano (Mike); and his sister-in-law Nancy Reedy. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
