With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary C. (Groves) Ward-Kinter of Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Groves and Elizabeth Willis Groves-Ward; her husband James C Ward Sr.; her former husband Edmund Kinter; and her children, James C Ward Jr. and Kathleen Matteson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Albright (Allan) of Butler and Elisabeth Oesterling of Butler; her daughter-in-law Loretta Ward of Butler; her stepchildren, Dean Kinter (Christine) of Fort Wayne Ind, Dwight Kinter (Jenny) of Newport News, VA and Della Serafine (Richard) of Potersville; and her sister Jean Flatt of Butler. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 State Guidelines, visitors are required to supply their own facial covering and to wear it along with maintaining social distancing.
