He was predeceased by: his sister Lois Steigerwald; and his children, Bonnie Carothers and David McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann McConnell; his children, Terry McConnell (Diane) of Hermitage, Linda McConnell (Brian Masters) of Mercer and Edward McConnell (Amy) of Sharpsburg; and his siblings, Nancy Spurk of Butler, Dorothy Brown of Zelienople and James McConnell (Mary) of Raymore. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
