He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen J. Getner and Helen T. Pundzak Getner; his daughter Christine L Getner; his pet Tucker; and his siblings, Kenneth Getner (Paulette) of Duquesne, Dianne Awenowicz (Kenneth) of West Mifflin and Richard Getner (Valerie). He was also cherished by twelve nieces and nephews.
