He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Sargent (Roger Harlan) and Carol Leshock (Dennis); his grandson Erik Harlan (Priscilla); his stepgrandchildren, Leigh Ann Rizzieri (Mark), Christopher Leshock (Donna) and Payton Rizzieri; his wife Emma Klein Sargent; his son John L. Sargent; his grandson Alex Harlan; and his siblings, Lowrie Jr., Jay Sargent, Wilma and Geraldine.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Bethel or Cabot United Methodist Church.
