He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lydia Yox (Street); his parents, Sadie M. Luers and Yox; his daughters, Vicki M. Wolf of Westminster, MD and Susan L. Kirby (Wesley) of Finksburg, MD; his stepson George I. Merryman (Patricia) of Hanover; his son-in-law David Jenkins of The Villages, FL; his brother Robert Luers; his stepdaughter Claudia Jenkins; and his siblings, Margaret Anne Buffington, Thomas Luers and Paul Luers. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
