He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude E. Richards and Thelma R. Richards (Hicks); his wife Joanne Richards; and his brother Donald Richards. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce (Kathy) of Mapleton, Carl of Newark, MD and Dale (Joy). He is also survived by four grandsons and three granddaughters; one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.
