The passing of Betty Gallant of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 100. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Alexander and Mary Louise Alexander (Gallagher); her husband William C. McIntyre of Brookville, PA; her brother John Alexander; her half-brothers, Wesley Shade and James Shade; and her stepsiblings, William Shade and Corrine Kellogg.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Danielle Wilcox (Brian), David Gallant, John Gallant (Pam) and Douglas Gallant (Diane); her half-brother Russell Shade; and also, Douglas McIntyre (Susan), Michael McIntyre (Alice) and Jeff McIntyre (Nina). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (335 Venango Ave, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
