He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Litsa; his children, Irene Gekas (Dean), Michael Glinatsis and Angela Desso (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Connor, Michael, Peter Gekas, Anthony, Litsa Glinatsis, Andrew and Nicholas Cameron.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Peter's name.
