He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marjorie C. Katzman; his brother Richard; his daughter Deborah E. Katzman (Gaspar J. D. Ximenes) of Timor-Leste; his grandchildren, Mariça, Marjorie Alicia and Miliani; his son James C. Katzman (Sandra) of Paradise Valley; his grandchildren, Jonathan, James Jr. "Jack", Jessica and Julia; his son Ronald M. Katzman Jr. (Lara) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Noah and Abrah; and his parents, Julius Katzman and Helen Barbush Katzman.
