He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. Daugherty and L. May Puterbaugh Daugherty (Harbst); his stepfather Milton Daugherty; his son-in-law Rick Cox; his siblings, Gwendolyn Steffen (Puterbaugh) and Peter Puterbaugh; and his niece Debra Eiklor (Steffen).
He is survived by: his friends, Ted Danielski, Fred and Bowen Jayne; his daughters, Denise Cox (Puterbaugh) of Plainview, TX, Diane Puterbaugh of Allis Hollow and Joleen Olechnowicz (Bert) of Binghamton, NY.; his grandchildren, Jeriann Cox of Plainview, TX, Katie Ratliff (Grant) of Plainview, TX, Nicholas (Stacey) of Apalachin, NY and Rebekah Olechnowicz of Binghamton, NY; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Matt, Karyn, Danielle Clark, Nicholas and Nathaniel Olechnowicz; and his sister-in-law Joanne Puterbaugh (Way) of Friendsville, PA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
