It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Elizabeth Decker Vanderpool (Camptown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Decker and Lona Welles Decker; her husband Gerald F. Vanderpool; her son LaVerne P. Douglas; her granddaughter Patty Adams; and her siblings, Earl, Milton, Arthur, Howard Decker, Gladys Hendershot, Ruth Cass, Helen Brown, Kay Stephenson and Marion Seymour.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Allen of Powell, PA, Thomas Douglas (Connie) of Stevensville, PA and Richard Douglas (Janet) of Newburgh, IN; her sisters, Dorothy Hillyard of Berkshire, NY, Shirley Blemle of Rome, PA, Freda Smith (Ron) of Towanda and Peggy Kobbe (James) of Towanda; and her sisters-in-law, Lillian Croft of Spring Lake and Dorothy Decker of Monroeton. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
