She was predeceased by : her parents, James T. Sygenda and LaVerne Cudnowski Sygenda; and her brother Dr. James T. Sygenda, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband John D. Benson, Jr.; her son Samuel Igor Benson; her sisters, Julie Sygenda of Saratoga Springs and Kim Sygenda of Glen Mills; and her nieces and nephews, Amanda Komarnicki, Kelly McCormick, Sophia Benson, James McCormick, Peter Komarnicki, Caleb Benson and Marcus Murphy.

Due to the current pandemic, Susan's funeral services and interment will take place privately by the family.

Sammy, my son. Quinn, and you are about the same age so we often discussed our boys when you two were little.
