He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert C. Sumner and Ida Mae Sumner; his wife Carol Reese; his children, Kristin Delgado (Ernesto) of Washington and David Rogers (Bridgette) of Pittsburgh; his stepdaughter Jennifer McKnight of Avella; his grandchildren, Kayla, Braden Baxendell, Ajay, Brody Rogers and Meghin McCartney; and his sisters, Linda Kreminsky (Stanley) of Washington, Shirley Carroll, Ruth Rudinsky and Norma Moore. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church, 161 W. Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
