She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Walsh and Irma Walsh (Schaumberg); her husband Dr. Ronald J. Gretz; her children, Dr. Laurel Gretz Pisciottano (Maurice) and Dr. Jeffrey Gretz (Beth); her grandchildren, Erica Smutney (Hayden), Julia Mikec (Christopher), Michael, Matthew and Marc Pisciottano; her great grandchild Hazel Marie Smutney; and her siblings, Colleen Anderson (Larry), Michael Walsh (Reva) and Donald Walsh. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gretz was a member of the Canon McMillan board of school directors for many years, and served on the Canonsburg Hospital Foundation board.
