He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel O'Donnell and Hazel Triner O'Donnell; his wife Barbara Cage; his siblings, Larry O'Donnell, June O'Donnell and Boots McCormick; and his grandson James O'Donnell.
He is survived by: his children, Donald L. O'Donnell, Jr. of Canonsburg, Patrick O'Donnell (Rebecca) of Canonsburg, April Lynn Olchock of Washington, Catherine O'Donnell of Canonsburg and Margaret Louise Huchko (Terry) of Canonsburg; his brother David O'Donnell of Waynesburg; and his grandchildren, Rory, Elise, Emerson, Duke, Cain, Nathan, Samantha, Cody and Brett. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation and services are private.
