She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bowland and Ann Lunn Bowland; her husband Edward Schmidt; and her siblings, James, Daniel Bowland and Leoda Dicey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Belleno (John) of Houston, Stacey Schmidt of Oakdale, Edwina "Winnie" Vercher (Gabe) of Marksville and Mindy Fowler of Uniontown; her brother Richard Bowland of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Belleno, Sean Davis, Anthony Terry, Raymond Terry, Zackary Schmidt (Elizabeth Brown), Jessie Menhart (Matt) and Samantha Fowler (Jeff Walden). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
