He was predeceased by: his parents, Demitrius Pihiou and Stella Mantalis Pihiou; and his siblings, Chris Pihiou, Alice Angelo and Mary Silvestros.
He is survived by: his brother Andy Pihiou of Canonsburg; and his nieces and nephews, James Silvestros (Debbie), Stanley Silvestros (Becca), Larry Silvestros, George Silvestros, James Pihiou (Tricia), George Pihiou (Dia), Sandy Castro, Connie Douglas (Bill) and Maria Poulis (Andrew).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorials be made to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in George's name.
