He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Helmick and Rose Verdinek Helmick Moncilovich; and his wife Rosemarie Kumer. He is survived by: his children, Gerald D. "Jerry" Helmick (Rebecca) of Canonsburg, Suanne Kelly (Jon) of Houston and Teresa Engler (Michael) of Washington; his grandchildren, Colleen St (Josh), Stephanie Gee (Christopher), Alexander Engler and Samuel Helmick; his great grandchildren, Noah, Cooper, Tanner Smith, Sarah St. Cyr, Hadley and Eliza Gee; and his siblings, Alma Meacham of Painesville, OH, Daniel and Alan Moncilovich.
