It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Prince of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie W. Prince and Mary Moody Prince. He is survived by: his daughters, Caroline E. Prince of Meadow Lands and Angela Martin of Halifax, NC; his grandchildren, Aubrey Elizabeth Prince, Laila Crook, Semaj Martin and Tyeisha Johnson (Kwymane); his great grandchild Myles Johnson; his sisters, Frances Prince of Garysburg, NC, Annie Barber of Garysburg, NC, Marjorie Debrow of Garysburg, NC and Joan Boone of Queens, NY; his son James "Pooh" Prince Jr.; his siblings, Idonia Lashley and Willie W. Prince; and his fiancée Vickie Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home LTD. (27 Cherry Ave, Houston, PA 15342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
