He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Pavlek and Mary Chopak Pavlek; his children, Jason Pavlek and Amber Smittle (Tina DiBiaso); and his brother Robert Pavlek. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Canon Mac Youth Baseball League.
