She was predeceased by: her brothers, Kostas Sahinis and Dimitris Sahinis. She is survived by: her husband Sam E. Anthou; her children, Margaret Scopelianos (Angelo), Emmanuel S. Anthou (Kris Faust) of Canonsburg and Christine Alex (John) of Strongsville, Ohio; her grandchildren, George Scopelianos (Angela), Sam Scopelianos (Alexis), Sophia Anthou, Ellie Anthou, Sam Anthou, George Alex and Samantha Alex; her great grandchildren, Margaret and Michael Scopelianos; and her siblings, Mihalis Sahinis, Fedra Renesis and Kiriaki Atsiknoudas. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Iconography fund, in Maria Anthou's name.
