Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sara Tiedy (Canonsburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 101, on September 10, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Tiedy; her parents, Henry McCready and Sarah Harvey McCready; her daughter Terry Cook (Elmer); and her siblings, Henry, Mary and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Ream (Robert), Bonnie Gavlak (Joseph) and Susan Tiedy-Stevenson (John); her grandchildren, Gretchen Ream, Elizabeth Noble, David Cook, Matthew Cook, Susan Cook, Sarah Gavlak-Blumberg, Lauren Woodward and Jonathon Stevenson; and her friend Mildred Smitty Smith. She is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
In the continued interest of public safety, the family requests all guests are wear masks or facial coverings.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Chruch, in Sara Tiedy's name.
